A January Dream

If we aim to live aligned with the Natural World, January 1st is Not the time to crush it and grind hard. It is a time of deep rest and nervous system recalibration. It is a time to dream the year ahead, supported by the darkness that signals time to go within. It is no coincidence that the holiday hectic distraction pulls us away from the very thing Nature is beckoning us to do. Slow down.

As the year of the Horse approaches, there is still much shedding from the year of the Snake. I came across a profound post of the themes for the years since the pandemic. It was so insightful to reflect on how aligned each year truly was. Here it is…

2020: The Year Everything Stopped

2021: The Year You Questioned Everything

2022: The Year You Lost What Wasn’t Aligned

2023: The Year You Quietly Rebuilt

2024: The Year You Strengthened Your Foundation

2025: The Year You Came Home To Yourself

2026: The Year You Rise And Live From Truth

(post by Abundance Alchemist)

According to Eastern Traditions- The year of the Horse is ushered in February 17th. This is a year of Action, Courage, Truth, Embodied VITALITY. It is fire & freedom, passion & movement- forward momentum. It asks us to follow and embody that which makes us feel truly alive, to walk to our divine inner rhythm and trust our intuition. It is time to commit fully to this passionate path ahead.

So when we reflect on 2025- the wisdom, depth, patience of transformation- we can clearly see the shedding of old skins: identities, relationships, beliefs, and habits that were restricting our growth. It now brings us the springboard of full potential.

Here are some questions to ponder with quiet reflection. Give yourself the space to Feel into, rather than think.

Where am I being invited to Grow beyond what is familiar?

What would it mean to live from my full potential, rather than past limitations?

What parts of me have been dimmed that are now ready to dance, create, and soar?

Where can I honor the primal wisdom of my body and Nature’s rhythm? My instincts and desires?

What stories still tether me to smallness? Where can I allow for more sponteneity?

How does true freedom feel in my body, soul, relationships, and expression?

If I trusted my inner truth completely- what would that look like?
